The Mexico Bulldogs Baseball Team picked up a 13-2 North Central Missouri Conference road win over the Moberly Spartans last night (Monday).

Jessie Fennewald went 3 for 5 with 3 RBI and a complete game on the mound with seven innings pitched and 2 strike outs.

Josh Forbis had 3 RBI as the designated hitter.

Landon Kleinsorge added 2 RBI in the Bulldogs victory.

Senior Ty Prince scored 3 runs.

Mexico improved to 4-5 overall and 2-2 in the NCMC. Up next the Bulldogs host rival Fulton on Thursday at 5pm.

The St. Louis Cardinals picked up a 4-1 series opening win against the Miami Marlins on the road last night (Monday).

Yadier Molina hit 2-run double and Tommy Edman jacked a home run. St. Louis evened their record at 2-2 on the season.

The Kansas City Royals spoiled the Cleveland Indians home opener with a 3-0 win.

Whit Merrifield hit a 2-run shot for this third homer in four games. Kansas City improved their record to 3-1.
