Mexico City Council Certifies April Sixth Election and Elects Mayor and Chairperson Pro Tem

The Mexico City Council certified the April 6th General Election results at last night’s (Monday) meeting.

The top 2 vote getters Chris Miller and Vicki Briggs took their oaths of office to serve another term on the council.

The Mexico City Council elected Chris Miller to the position of Mayor for a term of one year.

Ayanna Shivers had served as Mexico Mayor for the last 2 years.

And Vicki Briggs was re-elected as Chairwoman Pro Tem for another term of one year.
