Mexico Man Sentenced to Prison for 2019 Pawn Shop Burglary

A Mexico man is now sentenced to three years in prison in connection with a 2019 pawn shop burglary.

According to court documents 26 year old Tyler Hilderman was sentenced yesterday (Tuesday) after pleading guilty back in October for the burglary.

Hilderman and 21 year old Alexander Mears were charged with stealing more than 60 firearms from the Tiger Pawn in Columbia.

Mears made a plea agreement and said they made a hole in the building’s wall in order to enter the pawnshop and steal the guns.

Mears then handed the guns through the hole to Hilderman who was outside of the building.

Hilderman was also ordered to pay almost twenty thousand, seven hundred dollars in restitution costs.
