Multiple Injuries After a Car Crashes Into a Mexico Home at the Intersection of Buchanan and Morris

Multiple people are recovering from injuries after a vehicle was driven into a Mexico home yesterday afternoon.

According to Mexico Public Safety it happened around 5:21pm at the intersection of Buchanan and Morris.

Responding personnel learned that 35 year old Steven Stockdall of Jefferson City was driving a 2005 Mercury northbound on Morris when it collided with a 2006 Buick being driven by 19 year old Shelby Ludovicy of Mexico.

The Buick was stopped in the intersection at the time of the collision.

After the collision the Mercury continued northbound leaving the roadway and driving into the front of a home, causing significant structural damage.

4 people were inside at the time of the crash. A 17 year old girl, 20 year old Tristan Jones, 33 year old Mary Schaefer, and 25 year old Anntravea Dorsey were all taken to the Audrain County Community Health Hospital by ambulance and were treated for their injuries and released.
