Decorated U.S. Army Special Forces Veteran Will Deliver Address at Missouri Military Academy Commencement

A decorated U.S. Army Special Forces veteran of the Global War on Terrorism will return to his alma mater May 22nd to address the class of 2021 at Missouri Military Academy’s 132nd commencement.

Sergeant Major Steven McDavid, a 1997 MMA graduate, the J3 Operations Directorate Senior Enlisted Leader at Special Operations Command Central, will speak at the 9:30am event in MMA’s Centennial Gymtorium.

The event is closed to the public, however cadets’ families are limited to four tickets each, and a livestream will be available online at livestream.com/mma.

The 50 cadets in MMA’s class of 2021 come from 12 U.S. states and seven other countries.

Class members have so far earned more than six million dollars in scholarships and have been accepted to colleges such as University of Notre Dame, George Washington University, Loyola University, Hult International Business School and the University of Missouri.
