Mizzou Athletics is announcing an increase to venue capacities.

After playing its home games in all sports at no more than 20 percent capacity through May 9th Mizzou Athletics will allow up to 50 percent capacity for its remaining home sporting events this spring.

The adjustment goes into effect with the Tigers’ May 18th baseball game against Kansas at Taylor Stadium.

The Mizzou Softball Team lost 7-6 to the Florida Gators in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament yesterday (Friday).

The Tigers trailed 5-1 entering the 6th and took the lead by scoring one in the sixth and four in the seventh.

Ultimately, the Gators would score 2 in the bottom of the 7th to advance to SEC championship game.

The St. Louis Cardinals lost 5-4 to the San Diego Padres last night on the road.

Cardinals pitching walked a season high 12 batters hitting 3 of them.

Tyler O’neill and Nolan Arenado each hit home runs.

The Kansas City Royals snapped an 11-game losing streak last night with a 6-2 win over the Chicago White Sox in game 1 of a doubleheader.

The Royals then dropped game 2 by a score of 3-1.
