Mark McCloskey Announces His Candidacy for U.S. Senate
A St. Louis personal injury lawyer who gained national attention after he and his wife waved guns at racial injustice protestors who marched close to their home last summer, is running for the U.S. Senate in 2022.
Mark McCloskey made the announcement last night (Tuesday) on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News TV show.
McCloskey will seek the Republican nomination against 2 contenders: Former Governor Eric Greitens, and Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt.
Incumbent Missouri Republican Roy Blunt announced in March he would not seek a third term.
