Fulton Police Chief Steve Myers Provides Update on Tori Taylor Case

Fulton Police Chief Steve Myers is saying based on what his department knows no they do not believe Tori Taylor was kidnapped.

Chief Myers spoke at a press conference yesterday (Wednesday) and said over 20 law enforcement agencies helped on the case.

Taylor was arrested in Centralia, Illinois on Tuesday on 2 outstanding warrants from Missouri.

Fulton Police originally thought Taylor was a victim of kidnapping after she was last seen in Montgomery County for a virtual court date on April 20th.

Police responded to a report of a possible kidnapping on April 26th.

At the time, police believed three men pulled a woman matching Taylor’s description into a car on 10th Street in Fulton.

Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism said his office has been working with Illinois authorities to facilitate the extradition process.
