Mexico High School Baseball Players Put Up Impressive Stats in Florida Palm Beach Classic

Five Mexico High School baseball players took part in a 100 team wooden bat tournament in Jupiter, Florida at the Palm Beach Classic last week as part of the Jefferson City-based Central Missouri Phenom, a summer travel team.

Here are some of the eye-popping statistics the guys put up.

Andrew Runge had a .333 batting average with a 100% stolen base percentage and a 100% fielding percentage.

Josh Forbis with a 1.00 ERA and a 1.143 WHIP factor and a 2022 pitcher selection for the prospect select invite scout camp.

Daeye Miller had a .273 batting average with 100% stolen base percentage.

Tyler Thoenen 0.00 ERA and a 3.00 whip factor and a .833 fielding percentage.

Brock Smythe .944 fielding percentage as a catcher.

While at the tournament the Phenom picked up a win over the 8th ranked team in the country.

They also played games against the Cuban National Team and the Dominican Republic National Team.
