Mexico Board of Education Raises Salaries for Support Positions
The Mexico Board of Education votes to raise pay for a number of positions at a work session last night (Tuesday).
Across the board, extra-duty pay will rise by 1 percent, salaries for paraprofessionals, secretaries, nurses, and library, playground and teacher aides will increase by 7% and pay for district RNs will rise by 20%.
Salary hikes for all other support staff positions was set at 5% with a 2.5% increase to their base pay.
