KWWR Sports Report 6/17/21

The St. Louis Cardinals completed a series sweep of the Miami Marlins with a 1-0 win at Busch Stadium yesterday (Wednesday).

Yadier Molina provided the heroics with a walk-off RBI single in the ninth inning.

It was the second straight day the Redbirds had a walk-off victory.

St. Louis is in Atlanta tonight (Thursday) starting a 4 game set with the Braves.

The Kansas City Royals lost 6-5 to the Detroit Tigers at the K.

The Royals were swept by the Tigers and have now lost 6 straight.

Kansas City has the day off today (Thursday) before starting a series against the Boston Red Sox tomorrow night.
