Two Arrested In Mexico Shots Fired Incident on North Clark

Two arrests are now made in connection to a shots fired incident in Mexico on Friday night.

According to Mexico Public Safety an officer heard gunshots in the area of the 1300 block of North Clark and saw a vehicle leaving the area.

The officer stopped the vehicle on North Jefferson near Bourne Street.

An investigation revealed that there had been a disturbance in a home on North Clark and as some of the people were leaving, a 17-year-old male juvenile fired a gun in the air.

24-year-old William C. Garcia-Hernandez was arrested for 3rd degree Domestic Assault and taken to the Audrain County Jail.

The 17-year-old was detained by the 12th Circuit Court, Juvenile Division for various charges.

No one was injured from the gunshots.
