Pursuit In Audrain & Montgomery Counties Ends In Two Arrests

More details are being released regarding a vehicle pursuit late this morning (Tuesday) in Audrain and Montgomery Counties.

It started near Laddonia at 11:18 when an Audrain County deputy tried to stop a motorcycle for a registration violation.

The motorcycle failed to yield and continued south on Highway 19 through Martinsburg and Wellsville at speeds up to 80mph.

The motorcyclist drove through a yard and into a corn field off Porters Road where it crashed at low speed and stopped.

The driver, 32-year old Jackie L. Barlow II of Hannibal was arrested by Audrain and Montgomery county officers for failing to display valid plates, driving while revoked or suspended and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and is in the Audrain County Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

His passenger, 32-year old Patience N. Pax of Bowling Green was arrested on an outstanding Lincoln County warrant and was taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

During the pursuit, an Audrain County patrol vehicle driven by Sgt. Derek Chism received minor damage; Chism and K-9 Officer Chal were uninjured.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol also assisted in the pursuit.
