Former Substitute Teacher For Mexico School District Arrested For Child Sex Crimes

A former substitute teacher for the Mexico School District is facing multiple child sex crimes after an arrest yesterday (Monday) by Mexico Public Safety.

According to the Mexico School District they received notice yesterday (Monday) that an individual who worked as a substitute teacher for about 2 weeks last school year, was being arrested.

The Mexico Public Safety arrest log shows the only arrest made yesterday (Monday) was 51 year old Randall R. Giboney.

According to Giboney’s Facebook page he worked at the Mexico School District.

The Audrain County Sheriff’s Department shows Giboney was arrested for Third Degree Child Molestation with a child less than 14 years old, invasion of privacy with a victim under 18 years of age, possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a minor.

The Mexico School District says they have removed the individual arrested yesterday from the ability to work for the District and preventing his future access to the schools, students, and records.
