Suspect Charged in Boone County Homicide of Fulton School Teacher and Her Daughter

A suspect is now charged in the Boone County homicide of a Fulton teacher and her daughter.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department says JT McLean is charged with 2 counts of first degree murder.

Authorities have been unable to locate Mclean and a warrant for his arrest has been issued with a 1 million dollar cash only bond.

He is a white man with fair complexion, approximately 5’09” and weighs approximately 210 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair. He was last known to have his hair grown out, however, he has been known to shave his head, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.

Fulton elementary teacher Allison Abitz and her 11 year old daughter Jozee Abitz were found dead at their Boone County home late Sunday night.

An investigation revealed McLean was the long-term boyfriend of Allison and investigators believe he was the last person known to be in contact with the 2 at their residence.

McLean changed his name and has been known to go by the names of John McLean, Steven Nagy and Steven McLean.
