The North Callaway Thunderbirds Girls Softball shut out Wellsville 17-0 last night (Wednesday).
It was a no-hitter for Ryelle Smock, and she led the team in offense as well going 3 for 3 with a triple and 4 RBI’s.
North Callaway improved their record at 2-2.
Fulton Public Schools are announcing the cancellation of two upcoming football games due to COVID-19.
Friday night’s varsity home game against Richmond and Monday’s junior varsity home game also against Richmond are canceled.
According to a Tweet from Fulton Activities, the Fulton Football team has confirmed positive COVID-19 tests for multiple individuals.
The St. Louis Cardinals put an end to their 4 game losing streak last night (Wednesday) with a 5-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Busch Stadium.
It was another pitching gem from Cardinals veteran Adam Wainwright. He went 8 and 1/3 innings and struck out four picking up his 15th win of the season.
The Cardinals remain 3 and 1/2 games back of the second Wild Card spot and will go for a series split with the Los Angeles Dodgers this afternoon with a 12:15 start.
