Mexico Public Safety Arrests Two Men Suspected in September Gun Fire Disturbance on Breckenridge

Mexico Public Safety is reporting the arrest of 2 people believed to be connected to a gun disturbance last month.

According to the department the disturbance took place on September 18th in the 1000 block of Buchanan Street, where one person received minor injuries.

This week on Tuesday, 33 year old Randy J. Curtis Jr. turned himself in at Mexico Public Safety for his involvement in the disturbance.

The following day on Wednesday, 30 year old Kareem J. Phillips-Bey was arrested in the 900 block of Vance Road by Mexico Public Safety and deputies from the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office.

Phillips-Bey had outstanding warrants out of Callaway and Greene Counties and is believed to have been involved in the disturbance as well.

The investigation is ongoing.
