According to Mexico Public Safety it happened just after 10pm in the 1300 block of Paris Road, where a person described as a black man, about 5’10, with a slim build and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt displayed a gun.

Around midnight, Public Safety received calls to the north central part of town and learned that a group of people, one of whom fit the description of the man involved in the Paris Road incident, were getting into unlocked vehicles and taking money and small electronics left inside.

Officers also found a silver, Ford F-250 that had been reported stolen out of Boone County.

Saturday morning a blue, 2010 Mercedes was reported stolen from the Paris Road area that officers learned had been seen by law enforcement in Boone County prior to it being reported stolen.
