Mexico Public Safety Responds to Vehicle Fire at East Love
No injuries after a car fire in Mexico last night (Wednesday).
Mexico Public Safety responded to the 200 block of East Love just before 8pm and found a 2005 GMC SUV with flame in the passenger compartment.
The passenger compartment and a large number of personal items in the vehicle suffered serious fire damage.
The driver, a 70 year old Mexico woman reported driving the vehicle when she began smelling smoke.
She said she pulled over and exited and saw flame. According to Mexico Public Safety the fire appears to have started in the area of some electrical equipment on the front passenger side of the vehicle.
