KWWR Sports Report 11/6/21
The Mexico Bulldogs Football Team has advanced to a District championship game for the first time since the 2017-2018 season after taking out the Eldon Mustangs 50-19 last night (Friday) at Hawthorne Heights. The Bulldogs will host the Blair Oaks Falcons in the Mexico this Friday, November 11th. Kickoff is at 7pm.
Semifinals District scores:
- Blair Oaks advanced with a 64-38 win over Boonville
- Bowling Green took out the California Pintos 65-14
- Hallsville survived Centralia 38-36
- Holt ended Battle’s season 48-12
- Fayette eliminated Harrisburg 52-42
- St. Charles Lutheran shut out Hermann 61-0
- Jefferson City is moving on after beating Kirksville 61-19
- Macon bested Palmyra 34-7
- Mark Twain shut out St. Pius X 20-0
- Monroe City blanked Brentwood 46-0
- Grain Valley defeated Sedalia Smith-Cotton 47-3
- Sweet Springs outlasted South Callaway 22-19
- Marceline dominated South Shelby 42-14
The Missouri Tigers Football Team will face the number 1 team in the country the Georgia Bulldogs today (Saturday) in Athens.
Mizzou is coming off a 37-28 win against Vanderbilt last week.
Kickoff is at 11.
