Mexico Man Wins Missouri Lottery Jackpot
Persistence finally pays off for a Mexico man when it comes to playing the lottery.
The man, who asked that his identity not be released by the Missouri Lottery Commission, has played the same numbers for four to five years and recently won the Show Me Cash jackpot.
His ninety eight thousand dollar winning ticket was purchased at Xpress Mart at 1109 East Liberty and he plans to finish paying off his credit cards.
In fiscal year 2021, Audrain County players have won more than 5.9 million dollars in Missouri Lottery prizes and more than $355,000 has gone to education programs in the county.
