Tuckpointing Work Starting at Mexico-Audrain County Library
The headquarters location of the Mexico-Audrain County Library District is getting a facelift of sorts.
Staat Tuckpointing of Columbia is doing limestone repair and tuckpointing on the more than century old building, starting today (Monday).
Work will be done on all four sides of the main building, starting on the west side and that will have the parking lot closed between the library and the First Christian Church during this phase of the work.
According to library Director Christal Bruner, minor repairs had been made to the limestone in the late 80’s or early 90’s but this is the first large-scale project of this type she was aware of.
