KWWR Sports Report 11/19/21

The quarterfinals of Sectionals in high school playoffs gets underway tonight (Friday).

One game on the schedule tonight as the 11-0 Hannibal Pirates are home against 10-1 West Plains.

Multiple games will be played to tomorrow (Saturday) including the 9-2 Mexico Bulldogs traveling to 8-4 Seneca. That has a 2pm kickoff and will be broadcast on MIX Country 96.

The 11-0 Bowling green Bobcats are on the road against 11-1 Lafayette County.

11-1 Monroe City Travels to undefeated 11-0 Hayti with a 1pm kickoff.

11-1 Fayette travels to 10-1 Marceline with a 1pm kickoff.

The Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team defeated Northern Illinois 54-37 at Mizzou Arena last night (Thursday).

Junior Kobe Brown led the way with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Jordan Wilmore scored a personal best 11 points and added six rebounds and three blocks.

The Mizzou defense held Northern Illinois to its lowest point total since 2013.

Up next Missouri heads to Jacksonville, Florida for action on Sunday against SMU.

The St. Louis Blues beat the San Jose Sharks 4-1 last night (Thursday) at the Enterprise Center.

Brandon Saad scored twice and helped the Blues to their first win in 5 games.

St. Louis will be on the road tomorrow night (Saturday) when they play the Dallas Stars.
