Damage Reported to Railroad Underpass in Three Vehicle Accident in Mexico

One person has minor injuries and a railroad underpass has minimal damage as a result of a 3 car accident in Mexico on Friday afternoon.

According to Mexico Public Safety it happened in the 1500 block of East Liberty, when responding personnel found that 58 year old Martin Ahrens of Mexico, was driving a 1997 Peterbilt tractor-trailer eastbound under the railroad underpass, when a piece of equipment Ahrens was hauling struck the underpass and shifted.

The equipment hit a 2014 Ford being driven by 51 year old Russell Risenhoover of Martinsburg, and a 2006 Peterbilt being driven by 56 year old Jeffrey Tinker of Centralia.

Risenhoover had minor injuries and refused medical care.

The underpass had minimal damage as a result of being struck.
