Missouri State Employees Could See Pay Raises Early in 2022

State employees could see pay raises February 1st if Governor Parson’s proposed Supplemental Budget is passed by the General Assembly.

The proposed pay hikes announced today (Monday) by the governor’s office call for an additional 5.5 percent cost of living adjustment on top of the 2 percent COLA set to take effect January 1st.

Additionally, those state workers making less than fifteen dollars per hour would see a wage increase to fifteen dollars as a minimum wage for state employees.

The legislative session begins January 5th and Parson’s Supplemental Budget request will be introduced at the beginning of the session.
