KWWR Sports Report 12/15/21
In area high school basketball last night (Tuesday) the Mexico boys and girls Bulldogs basketball teams each picked up wins over Kirksville on the road.
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Kirksville Lady Tigers 47-37.
The Mexico Bulldogs boys pushed their record to a perfect 6-0 beating Kirksville 60-47.
The Van-Far girls defeated North Callaway girls 51-40.
The North Callaway boys beat Van-Far boys 69-60.
The Community R-VI Trojans boys basketball team picked up a 74-39 win over Sturgeon at home.
Missouri football is set to add more than a dozen players to its future rosters today (Wednesday) as part of National Signing Day.
High school seniors become eligible today to ink their names with schools as part of the early signing period.
At the top of the list for Mizzou expected to sign today is the no. 3 ranked wide receiver 6 foot, 200 pound Luther Burden out of East St. Louis as well as 4-star quarterback Sam Horn out of Georgia.
Head Coach Eliah Drinkwitz will hold a press conference at 2 this afternoon (Wednesday) in Columbia.
The St. Louis Blues skated to a 4-1 road victory over the Dallas Starts last night (Tuesday).
Vladmir Tarasenko had a goal and 2 assists for the Blues, and Ryan O’Reilly added a power-play goal.
Up next St. Louis will host Dallas on Friday.
