The Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams will be in action tonight (Thursday) when they host the Hannibal Pirates.

The girls game tips at 6:15. The boys game will follow.

Boonville standout DJ Wesolak will play football for Mizzou.

Wesolak made his decision yesterday (Wednesday) at the Knights of Columbus in Boonville and was one of a host of recruits who committed to Mizzou on signing day.

The four-star prospect chose Mizzou over LSU, Georgia, Alabama and USC. Wesolak is the first Pirate football player to ever sign with an SEC team.

The Kansas City Chiefs are on the road tonight (Thursday) for an AFC West battle against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chiefs are riding a six-game winning streak, and are just one game ahead of the Chargers in the division.

The Chargers defeated the Chiefs earlier this season 30-24 at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kickoff tonight is set for 7:20.
