Missing Teen Out of Callaway County Recovered in Nevada

A missing 14 year old from New Bloomfield has been found this morning.

14 year old Katherine Sewell was reported as a runaway juvenile on December 9th to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and investigators with the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department say they worked with multiple law enforcement agencies in Nevada, including Las Vegas Police Department and the Nevada State Highway Patrol and Sewell was recovered this morning (Thursday) by the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and is safe in their jurisdiction.

The investigation is ongoing in regards to possible state and or federal law violations.
