KWWR Sports Report 12/27/21
The Kansas City Chiefs took one step closer in clinching home field advantage through the playoffs following their 36-10 thumping of the Pittsburgh Steelers at Arrowhead yesterday (Sunday).
Kansas City became the first AFC team to clinch a playoff berth.
The also captured the AFC West division title for a 6th straight year.
Patrick Mahomes threw 3 touchdown passes, while the Chiefs defense forced 3 turnovers that was converted into 17 points.
Only 2 games remain in the regular season and up next Kansas City travels to Cincinnati to face the 9-6 Bengals on Sunday at noon.
The St. Louis Blues are announcing that 4 players have been added to the NHL’s COVID-19 protocols.
Robert Bortuzzo, Dakota Joshua, and James Neal all tested positive yesterday (Sunday), while Ivan Barbashev tested positive on December 23rd.
All 4 players join Oskar Sundqvist in COVID-19 protocols.
Sundqvist has been out since December 18th.
