Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team Headed to Championship Game of Macon Tournament and Lady Bulldogs Mya Miller Scores 1,000th Career Point

The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team have advanced to the championship game of the Macon Tournament after defeating the Macon Tigers 80-50 at the Macon High School tonight (Wednesday).

Three Bulldogs got into double digits. Michael White put up a 20 point performance. Jordan Shelton had 17 points, and Isaiah Reams contributed 14 points.

The Bulldogs boys remain perfect on the season improving to 13-0.

Mexico will face Kirksville on Saturday at 5:30pm in the first place game of the 34th annual Macon Tournament.

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs lost a hard fought game 40-31 to the Kirksville Lady Tigers.

Mya Miller had 15 points for the Lady Bulldogs and scored her 1,000th career point.

The Mexico girls will play for third place in the Macon Tournament on Saturday afternoon at 1pm.
