Missouri Highway Patrol Emergency Alert Sent to Cell Phones Tuesday Was An Error
An emergency alert sent to cell phones throughout the state yesterday (Tuesday) that referenced Gotham City and the Joker was an error according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The alert went out just before 5pm and the patrol followed up with another alert about the error.
Corporal Kyle Green says the department was conducting a test of the system and accidentally hit the send button.
