Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Sink Pirates In Boonville and Mexico Lady Bulldogs Win In First Round of Harrisburg Tournament

The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team improved to a perfect 15-0 on the season after defeating the Boonville Pirates 69-34 at the Boonville High School tonight (Monday).

Bulldogs senior point guard Peyton Willer was making it rain with three pointers.

Willer nailed five three pointers and finished with a game high 15 points, Daeye Miller got into double digits with 14 points.

Up next the Mexico boys will return home on Friday night for a Winter Warming showdown with the Kirksville Tigers.

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs advanced to the winners bracket of the Harrisburg Tournament with a 43-18 first round win over Fayette.

Mya Miller scored 13 points in the game, Lexi Willer recorded 9 points, and Jordyn Thurman and Riley Thurman finished with 8 points each respectively.

The Lady Bulldogs will play again on Wednesday night at 7:30 against either Centralia or Fulton.
