Mexico Lady Bulldogs Soccer Finishes Regular Season On a High Note
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs soccer team ended the regular season last night (Thursday) with a 2-1 victory over Winfield.
Shelby Kennemore scored two goals to secure the win. Head Coach Hayley Schafer says “Aaliyah Smith provided several big offensive pushes and defensively Kenley Jones was a huge component to shutting down the offense from Winfield.” Tessa Haefling had 21 saves.
Up next the Mexico Lady Bulldogs play the Kirksville Lady Tigers in Round 1 of the District tournament at Hotop Field in Mexico tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) at 4.
