KWWR Sports Report 6/10/22
The St. Louis Cardinals lost 2-1 to the Tampa Bay Rays yesterday (Thursday).
The Redbirds were swept by the Rays in the three-game series. Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas had a solid performance giving up just two runs and striking out nine over eight innings, however took the loss which evened his season record at 4-4.
The Kansas City Royals defeated the Baltimore Orioles 7-5 in the series opener at the K last night (Thursday).
The win gave Kansas City a two-game winning streak – which has only happened four times so far this season.
