The St. Louis Cardinals were shut out 2-0 by the Milwaukee Brewers in Milwaukee last night (Monday).

The Redbirds were only able to muster three hits in the game.

Cardinals rookie Juan Yepez accounted for two of the three hits.

With the loss St. Louis dropped to second place in the National League Central and trail the first place Brewers by one game.

The Kansas City Royals defeated the Anaheim Angels 6-2 on the road.

Royals catcher Salvador Perez obliterated his 11th home run of the season.

The Tampa Bay Lightning took Game 3 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals 6-2 over the Colorado Avalanche.

Colorado still leads the best-of-seven series two games to one.
