The St. Louis Cardinals moved back into a tie for first place in the National League Central with Milwaukee after defeating the Brewers 6-2 last night (Tuesday) on the road.
Redbirds rookie Nolan Gorman stole the show with his offensive performance. Gorman went 4-4, and delivered his first multi-home run game of his young MLB career, launching two solo home runs. He also added two singles and four RBI’s.

The Kansas City Royals won a wild game 12-11 over the Anaheim Angels in 11 innings on the road. Royals top prospect Bobby Witt Jr. delivered his first career multi-homer game.
Witt went yard in both the first and ninth innings as part of a three-hit, four-RBI night, to help the Royals win the second game of their series against the Angels.
The NBA and the Phoenix Suns are making some history.
The Suns named Morgan Cato as Assistant General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations, making her the first woman of color to hold the Assistant General Manager title for an NBA team.
She is a Harvard Business School graduate and most recently served as the NBA’s associate vice president of business operations for League Operations.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski is once again calling it a career.
Gronk is 33 and announced his retirement yesterday (Tuesday) on social media.
Gronkowski had previously retired after the 2018 season with the New England Patriots because of injuries.
Then his former quarterback Tom Brady summoned out of retirement in 2020 to play for the Bucs.
Gronkowski’s agent told ESPN that he would not be surprised if his client could be coaxed out of retirement for a second time by Bucs QB Tom Brady.
