House Fire in Jefferson City Sparks Investigation

The Jefferson City Fire Department is investigating the cause of a house fire Wednesday in the 2800 block of Kenborg Hills Road.

First responders could see fire coming from the side of the house on arrival. They immediately made certain the house was clear and fought to put it out which was accomplished quickly. The fire seemed to be coming from the eaves.

Fortunately, no one was home at the time.
