Road Rage Leads to Arrest in Jefferson City

20-year-old Keenan Kraig Reeves of Jefferson City is in the Callaway County jail after threatening a woman and her children with a gun during a road rage incident on Highway 63 Tuesday night.

Court documents state that he came alongside a vehicle driven by the victim and her two young children, ages 10 and 11, and pointed a handgun at them on U.S. Highway 63 near Jefferson City. Reeves told police that at one point he was driving within a foot of the rear of the victim’s car. He said he followed the victim’s car into Jefferson City and confronted her when she stopped.

The victim said Reeves pointed a handgun at her and her children at least twice during the incident. A loaded Glock 23 was later found during a search of Reeves’ vehicle.

Reeves is being held without bond at Callaway County jail.
