Four Day School Week Hopes to Attract Teachers
More than 100 schools in Missouri have switched to a four day school week, most making Monday part of the weekend, including Hallsville, North Callaway, Harrisburg, Madison C3, and Ralls R2.
Many of the districts involved are rural and hoping the new changes will help attract teachers.
Classroom time is made up by extending school days by approximately 15 minutes.
