Nolan Gorman homered and added two RBIs to lead the St. Louis Cardinals to a 4-1 win over the Washington Nationals last night.

Tonight in St. Louis the Washington Nationals face the Cardinals at 6:45, Cory Abbott opens against Jordan Montgomery.

Shane Bieber pitched a clean eight innings last night and the AL Central-leading Cleveland Guardians beat the Kansas City Royals 4-1.

In Kansas City, the Cleveland Guardians are up against the Royals at 7:10 with Cody Morris vs Zack Greinke.

Hannibal beat Mexico 8-1 yesterday in tennis. Jyllian Whitworth and Lani Blair had their best singles match in their young career. Baylea Porter and Sandra Cruz-Jarquin came out with a lot of energy and earned a win in a tight match.

In Eastern Missouri Conference softball action last night (Tuesday), North Callaway hosted Wright City and won 9 to 4.

Next up for the Thunderbirds, a road trip to Wellsville to take on the Tigers.

That game, originally scheduled for tomorrow night (Thursday), will now be played tonight (Wednesday), first pitch set for 5pm.
