Comments Being Sought by MoDOT On I-70 / Hwy 63 Interchange Project

MoDOT is seeking comments on the preferred alternatives at the intersection of I-70 and Highway 63 in Columbia.

They will hold an open house public meeting Wednesday evening from 4pm – 6pm at the ARC in Columbia, 1701 West Ash for residents to look at what preferred alternatives are being presented as well as the opportunity to speak to project team members.

The as-yet-unfunded project is included in the state’s Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan with a projected cost of $194 million.

The interchange is only one piece of a larger project looking at improvements to an 18-mile stretch of the interstate through Boone County.

There is also an online public comment period beginning Wednesday and continuing through November 18th at http://www.modot.org/improvei70Columbia
