Mexico Woman Injured in Callaway County Accident
A deer in Callaway County is responsible for sending a Mexico woman to an area hospital yesterday evening (Wednesday).
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on eastbound Highway 54 a mile east of Route FF at 5:30.
45-year-old Gina M. Shern struck the deer in the road and received minor injuries.
Shern was taken to a Columbia hospital for treatment.
