Mexico Assistant Superintendent Attends Training Academy
Mexico Public Schools Assistant Superintendent Dr. Allen Miles is now certified as a School Safety Specialist.
Dr. Miles recently attended the School Safety Academy sponsored by the Missouri School Boards’ Association’s Center for Education Safety in Jefferson City.
The training, attended by 45 school districts around the state at no cost to the districts, included support systems for behaviors, legal aspects of school safety and cyber security fundamentals among others.
The Academy includes plans that can expand to more advanced training and certification as the program builds and expands over the training years.
