Former Community R-VI Student Pleads Guilty in School Shooting Plot

The former Community R-VI student accused of planning a shooting at the school is now sentenced.

According to online court records, Drake Campbell plead guilty to second-degree harassment and was sentenced to one year in the Audrain County Jail.

That sentence was suspended with Campbell placed on two years of court supervised probation with certain conditions…

They include barring Campbell from consuming intoxicants other than those prescribed by a doctor.

He is not allowed to enter any business whose primary business is serving intoxicants and must submit to breath or blood tests at any time when requested by law enforcement.

Campbell is not to have contact with any victim or their family and must complete a mental health evaluation and follow any recommendations.

The charge of making a terroristic threat was dismissed as part of the plea.
