Auxvasse Man Leads Deputies On Pursuit

A two-county pursuit Friday night ends with an Auxvasse man in jail.

According to a social media post from the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department, deputies tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation near Highway 54 and Route BB.

The 37-minute pursuit began and continued through parts of Callaway County and into Montgomery County on Route B.

Montgomery deputies were waiting and the vehicle drove off the road a considerable distance before crashing over an embankment.

The driver, 35-year-old Daniel Foreman of Auxvasse fled on foot but was caught by Callaway County deputies.

Foreman was wanted on felony warrants from Cole and Cooper counties for drug offenses and was also under the supervision of the Missouri Board of Probation and Parole.

Foreman is in the Callaway County Jail without bond.
