KWWR Sports Report 12/29/22
Mizzou takes down another nationally-ranked opponent last night at Mizzou Arena.
In the SEC opener for both Missouri and Kentucky, the #19 Wildcats fell to the Tigers 89 – 75.
Kobe Brown lit up the scoreboard again, scoring 30 points.
Three other Tigers scored double digits in the game: D’Moi Hodge with 14 and DeAndre Gholston and Sean East II each had 12 off the bench,
The Missouri Tigers women’s team hosts Kentucky tonight, tip off set for 8:00.
The Peak Sport & Spine Holiday Shootout gets underway this morning in Moberly.
At 9:30 the LaPlata girls take on Paris followed by the boys matchup at 11:00.
At 12:30, Hallsville and Highland girls meet up followed by the boys game at 2:00.
Cairo and Clopton take one another on, the girls at 3:30 and the boys at 5:00.
The nightcap features a Macon – Boonville matchup with the girls game at 6:30 followed by the boys at 8:00.
Play continues tomorrow as well.
Games are played in the Fitzsimmons-John Arena at Moberly Area Community College.
