North Callaway High School Threat Under Investigation

A threat to North Callaway High School is under investigation.

According to a Facebook post from the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, the district was notified of a threat circulating on social media just before 11:00 last night (Thursday).

Administrators contacted the sheriff’s department and just after midnight, officers located the juvenile suspect at a residence in northern Callaway County.

The juvenile was taken into custody and taken to the sheriff’s office before being released to the custody of the Callaway County Juvenile Office.

Extra law enforcement presence has been in place today (Friday) at the school.
