Library Continues to Work on Restoring Service
Administrators at the Mexico-Audrain County Library District continue to work to return to normal service following a ransomware attack last week.
The facilities of the district remain open with staff checking out materials by hand.
The attack did not affect the public access computers at each facility so patrons may still utilize those for email and research.
Systems that remain affected include Heritage Quest, NoveList, Hoopla Digital, and Missouri Libraries2Go.
The vendors for the district are working to update systems to provide and alternate way to provide patrons with needed services.
