KWWR Sports Report 2/7/23

The Mizzou tigers men’s team is in action tonight at Mizzou Arena.

The 17-6, 5-5 SEC play Tigers face the 8-15, 1-9 SEC play Gamecocks of South Carolina, tipoff set for 8:00.

The Tigers are 13-2 & 4-1 SEC at home this season.

Van-Far boys basketball pick up wins in Mexico last night.

The JV squad beat MMA 64 – 38 while the Varsity team manhandled the Colonels 80 – 47.

Next up for the JV, a road trip to Hannibal Thursday night at 6:00.

For the Varsity, both boys & girls take on Wellsville tonight starting at 5:30.

Mexico picked up four wins over Marshall in Mexico last night.

On the girls side, JV won 22 – 14 with Varsity winning 24 – 20.

JV boys won 76 – 29 with the Varsity boys getting a lopsided win as well, 75 – 46.

Mexico is back in action on the road Friday night, the girls taking on Capital City and the boys in St. Elizabeth.

Mexico Lady Dawgs wrestling picked up a win on the road last night, beating North Callaway 12 – 6.
