Moberly School District To Take Corrective Action After Photo Incident
Moberly Public Schools are taking corrective action after an incident on Friday.
In a letter from the district to parents, they say that they were made aware of a photo of a student with an unfavorable comment circulating on social media.
The photo was taken at school by a substitute teacher and shared on her social media account.
The district waited to send the letter to parents due to student confidentiality and for the care, safety, and protection of the family involved.
Neither the name of the substitute teacher involved nor what corrective actions will be taken were released by the district.
